The WBC-RTI.info platform acts as a source of high quality targeted information on research, technology and innovation in/with/for the Western Balkan countries (WBCs) and builds upon well-known WBC-INCO.NET platform by including relevant parts of different databases. The Platform is funded by Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy. As a registered user you are able to publish all by yourself free of charge your event announcements, your project news and documents, as well as to disseminate relevant news on funding opportunities, cooperation possibilities, scholarships etc. Newsletter is sent monthly focusing one thematic area of relevance for WBC (such as Steering Platform on Research for WBC).
Also Danube-INCO.net website builds upon WBC-INCO.NET platform to some extent however focusing on Danube region. This is an FP7 funded coordination and support action for the official EU Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) in the field of research and innovation (R&I). Danube-INCO.NET focuses mainly on two priority areas: PA 7 „Knowledge Society” and PA 8 „Competitiveness“. The project supports the policy dialogue, creates networks, and analyses and supports R&I activities. Newsletter is sent on bi-weekly bases and includes wide variety of entries (news, documents, events etc.) on different topics of relevance for Danube region but also to some extent to the whole WB region.
